Reva Jo Sumpter

August 13,1925 – May 4, 2023

Reva Sumpter passed away on May 4. 2023. Reva worked for the Bell system for 33 years. She started with the phone company as a switchboard operator in South Bend, Indiana. Eventually she made her way to Tucson to continue in the phone industry. Her last position before she retired was a service representative for the University of Arizona. She retired from US West in 1982. Reva is the grandmother of Brandon Di Maria, who currently works for Lumen in Tucson.
