2023 Projects

2023 Spring FUNDrive!

Another Spring FUNDrive and another success. Our club collected soft goods, hard goods (items smaller than a microwave) and LOTS of books. All these items were processed to SAVERS on Earth Day 🌎 April 22, 2023.  Here’s a recap:  Clothing: 1466 lbs – Miscellaneous: 918 lbs – Books: 1195 lbs –  Other large items: 9 pcs

Thanks to everyone’s help in cleaning out their closets and spreading the word to family and friends, and with the projected bonus of collecting so many books, we were able to raise $495.20+.

This project benefits several of the other SACC projects we have going on through out the year. Our project leader, Anna Patton, will go through each bag or box donated and will pull out any other item that could be used for our various projects. Some examples of these are new clothing with tags for Emerge Center for Domestic Violence, gently used bras to the Gospel Rescue Mission for Homeless Women, school age clothing for the Marana Clothing Bank and many more.

A big shout out to all of our volunteers including Anna Patton, Patti Pace, David Spear, Kendrick Heincy, Larry Bauer, and our trailer donator and tower Tom Bivens!

The Jim Click Millions for Tucson Raffle 2023 is here!

2021 FALL FUNDrive

WOW! This year’s fall FUNDrive was a smashing success. Thanks to your generous donations to our FUNDrive, we were able to accomplish the following:

  • Raised $332.15 selling soft goods and small household items to SAVERS.
  • Raised $115.00 selling donated items online via Facebook Marketplace.
  • GRAND TOTAL FUNDRAISED:      $447.15

A HUGE thank you to all our members. So many people donated and collected from their friends, family and neighbors. This enabled us to raise a lot of money for the club. A special thank you goes out to our project leader Anna Patton and her dedicated helpers (Patti Pace, Tom Bivens, David Spear, Kendrick Heincy, and Ayla Patton). Without the help of everyone, this project wouldn’t have taken off!

2021 Spring FUNDrive

This years Spring FUNDrive was a great success. Our project leader Anna Patton was able to get a covered trailer donated to use for a few weeks while we collected, sorted and delivered the items. We were able to collect enough items to sell to SAVERS for $212.10. Before turning over the items, we do take the time to try and find anything that can be used in other projects. We were able to find several new with tags clothing items to donate to the Emerge! Domestic Violence shelter. Thank you to all of our volunteers, Patti Pace, David Spear, Kendrick Heincy, Amber Patton, Doug Currier and Anna Patton

2020 Projects

Holiday FUNDrive 2020

A big thank you to everyone who donated items for our Holiday FUNDrive. We were able to successfully collect enough items to sell to SAVERS and earn $197 for our club. Before turning over the items, we do take the time to try and find anything that can be used in other projects. We were able to find several new with tags clothing items to donate to Emerge! Domestic Violence shelter, lap robes for our seniors project and some new long johns that will be donated to a local men’s homeless shelter. A special thank you to our young volunteers (Amber Patton, Doug Currier, Melissa Reich, Julian Maldonado and Ayla Patton) as well as our tried and true veterans (Patti Pace, Priscilla Lujan, David Spear and Anna Patton). Their help (and more importantly their muscles, were a huge plus with this project). We already have plans for our spring FUNDrive. The SACC really enjoys this and we encourage you to start your spring cleaning after the holidays so we can meet our new goal of $300.

Thank you to all our volunteers and a special thank you to our truckload team: Tom Bivens, Larry & Kathy Bauer, Patti Pace, Anna Patton and David Spear.
