2025 – Life Scout Community Service Project
In September 2025, SACC was pleased to partner with a local Scout (formerly the Boy Scouts) to help him earn his community service badge. Sawyer and his family have assisted SACC in the past with donations of goods and services for many of our projects and SACC was thrilled when approached to participate. We were able to provide water, food and snacks to help fuel the scouts and their family members who worked to make a safe and usable walkway for pedestrians. Check out these great pictures taken of all the work these scouts and their team accomplished in just a few days. Thank you to all the local Pioneers who also contributed to this project.
2021 Projects
2021 – Pop Tabs
For The Bees
The first flowers from our For The Bees project have bloomed. This project, in tandem with students and teachers curtsey of our community partner Treasures 4 Teachers of Tucson, is to help promote the education and population of one of nature’s most valuable resource, the bee 🐝
We will be doing this project again for 2021 and look forward to more pictures of these pretty additions to yards and landscapes all over Southern Arizona.
